Edgar Cayce's soulmate information: is this your missing link to love?

Who Was Edgar Cayce? Why have I dedicated a whole section to him on The Soulmate Site?

I've been studying soulmates for many years now. The Edgar Cayce readings - bar none - contains the most fascinating soulmate information I've ever seen. Even if you're not sure about reincarnation, this information has the potential to revolutionize how you see your love life!

In this section of the site, I'll first give you a brief bio. Then I'll add some eye-opening information he chanelled, about common relationship topics such as:

Who was Edgar Cayce?

He was the most well documented psychic and medical clairvoyant in the twentieth century. He's also known as the "sleeping prophet," and the "father of holistic medicine."

For more than 40 years of his adult life until his death in 1945, Edgar Cayce gave 14,306 (!) psychic readings to thousands of seekers while in an unconscious state.

Sounds impressive huh? What I love is that he was an incredibly humble man as well. Born on a farm in Hopkinsville, Kentucky in 1877, his psychic abilities showed up in childhood. He could see and talk to his late grandfather's spirit, and often played with "imaginary friends". He could also memorize the pages of a book simply by sleeping on it.

Chanelled information from a sleep-state

As an adult, Cayce discovered that he had the ability to put himself into a sleep-like state by lying down on a couch, closing his eyes, and folding his hands over his stomach. In this state, he was able to place his mind in contact with all time and space. In other words, the universal consciousness or super-conscious mind.

From his sleep-state, he could respond to a range of questions from "What are the secrets of the universe?" to "What is my purpose in life?" and "What can I do to help my arthritis?" and "How were the pyramids of Egypt built?" He was able to answer these questions in great detail, with only an eighth grade education.

Edgar Cayce originally resisted the idea of reincarnation. In fact, he was a devoted churchgoer and also taught Sunday school. When asked how to become psychic, his advice was to become more spiritual.

Astonishing array of information

Even though he's been dead for more than 60 years, hhis readings remain timely, covering subjects like how to to discover your mission in life, developing your intuition and taking responsibility for our health. Hundreds of books have been written on his work and almost a dozen on his life.

In 1945, the year he died, Cayce was using words like "meditation," "Akashic records," "spiritual growth," "auras," "soulmates," and "holistic health". For many today, these are household words.

The majority of Edgar Cayce's readings deal with holistic health and the treatment of illness. However, his readings discuss over 10,000 different topics encompassing:
  • Health-related information
  • Philosophy, reincarnation and karma  What is karma?
  • Dreams and dream interpretation
  • ESP and psychic phenomena, and
  • Spiritual growth, meditation, and prayer.
Curious to read more? I highly recommend it! This information adds a rich,  dimension to your soulmate search, whether your focus is how to find true love, surviving infidelity, or healing past lives.

Books

Kevin J. Todeschi has written about his work on soulmates, a really good book if you're interested in diving deep into this topic.

Gina Cerminara's Many Mansions, is a very dense read (you may want to take your time and split it up) but has a fantastic range of topics like the types of karma and some nice sections on soulmates, marriage, infidelity and more.

Thomas Sugrue explores the man's life and work in the book, There Is a River. I haven't read this one yet, but it's considered a classic.

Websites

Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.) The official U.S. non-profit site documenting and sharing his work, from which I gratefully excerpted and edited the bio for this page of The Soulmate Site.
